I have seen references to "alchemy" in some of the slim reference books found near the stonewall guide. But not in my book.
In the reference books, the pages are thin, as if made of some kind of seaweed or plant.
And the pages of the book are much thinker and lighter. By the way, it's a major library heirloom: it contains, I assume, most of the history of all existing scaled animals.
Just guessing, because a huge number of pages are missing.
Much is taken out of context, some of the lettering is blurred, and some is written on a torn piece.
I don’t know how this book managed to get underwater so deeply, but the fact remains - it is in my library now and holds what I believe to be life-changing information.
And it’s dies.
Each of my touches only bring closer the moment when the last crumbs of ancient knowledge will forever dissolve into the sea and become part of the sea foam.
Red ivy corrodes the rim from the inside, and attemos to cut it off only provoke active growth and spread the strange charcoal stain has touched many important pages. I have not been able to recover them,
And I haven’t encountered any more pieces of the book anywhere… All I have is inside it.
Do you understand how fragile it is?
I so wish I could tell to the whole world about it, so that we could work together to put the missing pieces together…
Maybe then there wouldn’t be these terrible conflicts between dragon and wyverns. Maybe then we would have known the true cause of the origin of the virgules? The Grand Rip current?
I want to believe that all the answers to my questions are in it...
