Random Post #60 (About Nameless Questline)

It’s been a while since I last made one of these, so let’s talk about what I’m cooking for Nameless. As usual, I’ll talk about minor spoilers and what might or might not be in the quest, so if you care about spoilers I don’t recommend reading what comes next.

We’re already at the last part of Nameless Questline. The climax or conflict as one would say. Now, one thing that I had in mind since starting writing the questline was the antagonist, who at the time had no name but was always supposed to be Roxanne’s spoiled granddaughter. Sex Valley doesn’t really have lots of antagonists, with most of them being one-and-done characters or misunderstandings. As for Alessia, Nameless's ex-owner, she is a constant shadow over Nameless, be it by sending people after her or by the scars she left on the poor raccoon’s body, but she’s no threat by herself and is just a girl failure. That means she needs someone to act as the danger. Originally, I wanted to create a new character for this, the protagonist’s combat instructor, who is briefly mentioned. But I felt adding a character with ties to the protagonist in a minor thug role would suck, so she’s scrapped. Instead, it’ll be the three bandit leaders show. Nihil, Eris, and Yra. You know, I don’t really like thinking about power scaling. Still, I spent some time reflecting on which one of these three is the strongest to decide who would be the final encounter and if Nihil should even be included, as she’s considerably less evil than the other two.

Back to Nameless. I mentioned before that I finished writing the questline, and all that remains are the scenes. As a little update, I’m done with the gentle scene and am starting work on the naughty scene. The submissive scene, however, is a problem. Nameless is one of those weird characters that struggle to fit into the three options the game gives, and a dominant Nameless is just something that wouldn’t happen with her personality. She’ll just turn out like Kiria, where I had to bullshit my way write her scenes in, so I’m thinking about just skipping her submissive scene and beginning to prepare the grounds for that one futa Nameless scene that won a poll a few months ago, as the witch’s basement stuff will come right after Nameless’s quest. But I’m still unsure. There’s still a few days for me to reach a conclusion here.
