Hello !
I'm late for this reaction video, and you guys know what. We lost someone we loved a lot. I knew we missed only one type of episode for this new season of Rick And Morty, only the lore and deeper episode. So I was not surprised that this final episode was about it, but about that subject ? About Diane and the fact that Rick is that ready to move on that he wants to eradicate her memory ?
Through this journey, he learns that he might be ready to move on, to get emotionally invested with other women, that he wants to open himself more to people around him. And he can also see that it had an impact on Beth, that she might have also blocked that grief inside of her. He makes peace with that, with her memory, the memory of who he was. It gives an amazing lesson of life : to not try to eradicate people who died from your memories, but to not try to live in these memories, to cherish these memories and maybe try to imagine the best for them.
I'm not sure I was emotionally ready to see this episode, but I'm not sure I would have ever been because these two were too connected for me.
