Hello !

How can the final episode of a show like Squid Game be the shortest one ? And how can they think that what they gave us would be enough ? I knew and discussed since the beginning of the season that we would have no conclusion for the games, this organisation, because it's in fact a big international thing, octopus, with antennas everywhere and I even predicted we could finish in another country seeing the beginning of a game or else. But this scene with Cate Blanchet ? Love her, but it's so weird that it takes us out of the show in 1s and it just feels off.

The end of Gi-hun's character is well written and we saw it coming, it's a sweet sacrifice, and it's a way for him/the show to respond/win the discussion about the fact that humans are worth it. But the rest ? We have NO DISCUSSION AT ALL between Front Man and his brother, the cop ? How ?? It was one of the major other things of the show. Ok for the baby to finish with the cop, but we have no other real endings : the soldier "11" is clearly falling in a trap about his daughter being alive, but for what reason ? To introduce the chinese spin-off of the show ? It's so badly written, so poorly done on screen… Imagine people who didn't hear about the potential spin-offs in all countries, if me I'm frustrated, what about them ?

Not saying this end was bad, but it's clearly not good. So many things could have been done in such a better way. I'm ok with a lot of the ideas/solutions found, but the majority is badly written and/or done on screen. And we have some bad decisions, bad scenes. I finish the season having the impression we lost a lot of time on unnecessary repetitive scenes and uninteresting characters, when we could have done much more for the characters we love, the situations which needed development and real conclusions… it's frustrating.
