They wanted Mark to come back, they made the others come back for him, because they needed him for that particular job, Cold Harbor. If it's that important, why let him lose time searching for Gemma ? Why losing time with that little team trip ? The beginning of the episode was amazing, I was so confused. But I understood real quick that Lumon was behind it.

I'm so proud of Irv, I love him so much. The fact that he saw that something wrong with Helly, he confronted her about it, he didn't let her go with that, he guessed who she truly was, he had the nerves to threaten to finish Outtie Helly to save Worky Helly, knowing he would get fired, meaning he would be terminated… The sacrifice he made here… But he knew about it, and since he learnt that the company he believed in was that big lie and since Burt left, in fact Worky Irv lost reasons to live so he was ready to make that sacrifice. The fact that we begin the episode with Worky Irv waking up in that wild nature, and we're ending it with Worky Irv "going to sleep" surely for the last time… The symbolism is so cool.
