Though, this scene is important, because it sets up what happens in the second half of the chapter, which is something that I've been planning since the very first page of the first comic.

Our heroic sweethearts need to hide their secret from their boss because he's overly protective toward his step-kid, and after this (I could be wrong) they're going to have a tough dilema about what next, anyway when Blitz finds out, he's going to SCREEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAM terribly. If you can think of a more realistic plot, I'd love to hear it.
