I had just the time to watch one episode that day and I was so afraid of not finishing the fight, and having a big cliffhanger. But I had the end of it ! And WHAT AND END. I'm so amazed by what Dekku did, Eri being such a booster for his quirk. He went 100% with it, and he tried so many things ! He was not just a student doing so great that he's an equal to all the other heroes, he was truly legendary !
I was a little confused at the beginning of the episode, with the rewind quirk of Eri and the lines they said I thought we would have a time travel situation. But no, the girl was accepting to be saved this time, to go with Dekku. Overhaul is really not Eri's dad, I was right about it ! The guy has really nothing : no family, no friends and no group following him because they believe in him or anything, and no values at all.

You're so right, the action and the music were perfectly mixed together for none to take more place and for both to marry so well. it was beautiful...

2024-01-02 19:05:01 +0000 UTCThe use of music in this episode combined with some truly godlike sakuga when Deku is at 100%. My only complaint is that the throughline of the action is a bit jumbled. There are two distinct animations where Deku clearly strips away all of Overhaul's extra limbs etc, but he suddenly has them back without showing him reform them both after the first series of 100% punches and after he falls to the ground at the very end. A bit of a nitpick, but I'm a bit of a stickler for combat being told as a story in and of itself. It's one of the reasons I -hate- shaky camera being used to hide all of the martial arts choreography in some films. Anyway, glad you also enjoyed it! ^_^
