This is the fourth WIP post of Titanic Love, an animation commission! These posts are aimed to give you insight into my workflow and show you my creative process. Below is a segmented list with images and GIFs of everything I accomplished this week.
I've completed the first shot of Titanic Love! It's more of a soft completion, as I haven't composited the shot just yet. Check it out below! You can also find the full resolution shot in the files below.

I've begun work on the second shot of the animation. I've had QUITE a few technical difficulties so far and unfortunately that's resulted in a bit of a time loss. Either way, take a look at the current shot preview below! And as always you can find the full res WIP in the attached files.

I'm using a simple camera rig with parenting to attach the camera to the inside of the helicopter. The highlighted object is the camera.
The helicopter rotor also uses a simple driver expression on the Z rotation axis to cause the helicopter to spin. If you'd like to set up this driver yourself in one of your projects, you can simply type in an equation into whichever parameter you're trying to change such as "#frame*2" where 2 is the multiplier for the speed of the rotor.
That's all for this week! I'll have more progress to share very soon. :3
