The Vast Gap Between Us pg 1 inks (script)
Added 2024-08-15 21:45:40 +0000 UTCP1: We are at a park, on a paved clearing by a calm river. There are flowery trees all around as several girls, Na'vi and human, sit on the ground for a simple picnic. One of the girls is lying on her back, staring up at the night sky. In the distance, we can make out the shape of a baby Tree of Voices. In the sky, we can make out spacecrafts and structures.
SYLARA (narration): It's been over 200 years since humans first discovered the moon Pandora, and its inhabitants, the Na'vi. Their relationship with mankind was tumultuous and destructive, but from a few well-meaning humans, and from a few open-minded and brave Na'vi, eventually came a long-lasting peace between the two species. There's a bunch more stuff that happened in-between then and now, but I was never good at modern history.
P2: Sylara, wearing her casual clothes, a goth dress, lies on the ground, looking up at the sky.
SYLARA (narration): Since then, some humans immigrated to Pandora. And some Na'vi immigrated to Earth. I was born on Earth, raised on it... maybe I'll die on it.
