I decided to make a background that would fit this scenario the most, and that is the void!

With that, as the nightmare corruption was made by xavius who did it for nzoth, and azshara working with nzoth, while xalatath and alleria also being tied to nzoth or the void in general.. (and old gods being tied to the void) xDD i figured.. the void is perfect for this..

HOWEVER :D... I had to recreate ingame vfx, which I have never done before, and show the nightmare slowly tying into the background. I am also considering tying parts of ny alotha into the background too, so this has become a biiiig project x)

here are some wips:

I re-created the void portal using random ingame vfx textures.. Bottom image is from wowhead as a reference. its not fully the same, but i am pretty happy with it!

(azsharas gear and hairstyle hasn ot yet been added in)

Last but not least! there will be more camera angles ofc ^^ these are just the ones I have been able to do the most work on so far, although they are all far from done.
