This enemy is a cursed prince that was transformed into a frog man warrior with powerful dark magic. Like in the fairy tale, love from a princess can break the spell, which will help you since the frog version is very powerful. Of course this powerful black magic can't be broken with just a kiss, so Alfie will need to be more naughty to break the spell.
This game will use some tropes about princesses in different media, however, it's not a parody, it will have some serious moments as well as goofy moments and things like this,
