Ultimate Fusion Generator

NEW DESKTOP / MOBILE DESIGN - Coming soon to an future Beta release



The desktop redesign - ( not yet released )

Background: has been redesigned and converted to vector in order to allow for faster loading and keeping the dots nice and round and the lines nice and centered.

GUI: Now includes 3 random buttons and 2 switch buttons to allow for quick character switching. + a new "MORE" button that much like the DBFG button that  holds transformations and other extras such as scouter, evolve and fusion dex.

Character select is now located below the fusion panel



There is a new color panel located at the bottom now (you can move and zoom the character while changing colors)



Fusion mode select includes "Fusion mode", "Random mode" & "Edit mode(coming soon)"



EXTRAS/MORE Tab that contains all the extra features for transformations, scouter, evolutions and fusiondex with lots of room for more.



All four extras are already implemented into both desktop and mobile versions and fully functioning. We have chose the classic pokedex style for the fusiondex for now.

MOBILE VERSION

We realize that the mobile version in the last beta was basically non-existent and functioned horribly.
In contrast the redesign of the site was built from the mobile version up, so it now works beautifully with resized GUI and locked scrolling to feel like an app.

NEW SERVER

We have completed the server migration so now the Ultimate Fusion Generator is on it's own server with all the bells and whistles functioning as they should.

The reason this is worth mentioning is that this combined with the weekly commissions of characters marks a kind of no turning back / start of the conveyer belt that inevitabilitizes the release of the UFG and gradually work us up to a new character everyday goal.

FASTER GENERATOR

If we didn't already mention we have enabled gzip on the new server that will load vector images considerable faster and also each characters files are now  compressed which is harder for vector files (in a way).

Resulting in 70% faster fusions! wooohooo!

ANIMATIONS

Yes, this is something that we arguably don't need to add and never had the intention of adding but...
the fusions are basically processed to be able to do this and the added flexibility would help fusions look better by (for example) lining up the center of the helmet with the center of the face and countless more.
On top of that the tests we've done for animated fusions look AMAZING!



To not delay release the animation tests are being done while we are preparing new characters and rigging is done in a specific way that doesn't require us to do much more processing for each character to allow for them to be animated.
(it will be mostly used for idle animations but transformation are another potential use)

POKEMON GEN 9 PROGRESS



We are currently finishing off checking the masking of gen 9 pokemon that means it's about 90% done.
We just have dex entries and cries before we can add them.

We will attempt to add them next month and if everything goes smoothly and is working well we will release it to patrons as early as either the end of next month or beginning of august.

OTHER

Character Suggestions & Polls

As mentioned above we are having characters made for adding to the UFG and we want to give our patrons control of which characters get added!

If anyone has any suggestions on how this should work we would love to hear them.

We are thinking of having a character suggestions post and having you wonderful people comment which characters you want us to add.
Then using a large poll on a separate page requiring patron login to vote, then compiling all the votes to the top 5 (or however many patreon allows) and have the final poll on here.

Either way we want some suggestions for new characters as we will be adding 15 a month for now and will work up to 30 or so once the processes has been smooth for a few months.

Expect another post asking specifically for suggestions soon.
