First of all thank you everyone for patiently waiting for our next post.
We have got a lot done in the past few months and have compiled a few below.
Mainly, we have been working to apply all that we have learned from the last BETA.
An important note: colors have not been finalized for fusions and we are still working on an algorithm for coloring. So please excuse the lack of attention to colors in the fusions below.
We have fixed it so hats can now be placed on top of hair instead of replacing it completely with just a hat. That meant making "Hat Hair" for every character with hair.

(NezukoXLuffy (right) also uses a new feature called and "over belt" that is where the shirt hangs over and doesn't require a belt)
HELMETS
Just like hats, helmets make use of "Hat Hair" and this change looks a lot better I'm sure you would agree.

HELMET HORNS
Character's that have horns or sometimes even ears will have them blended with the helmet.


WEAPON ATTACHMENTS
We have added the ability to attach weapons to character in fusions and think this will make the character creator a lot more fun too.

CELL TYPE FUSIONS
Being as the DBFG is one of our most popular generators, we wanted to do fusions with "Cell" justice and have worked to allow for hair to be included as you can see below.
Similar characters will make use of the Cell-Type.


(Also if you notice there is a short and tall versions of cells head thingy)
BLENDING HAIR
For characters like sonic we realized it would be necessary to blend hair in order to get the best results.

BACK OBJECTS AND SIDE WINGS
Attaching wings to characters showing their back was a challenge so we tackled it in two ways to allow for back attachments and wings to be attached to either side.


SPIDERMAN TYPES
Characters with masks and a pattern like Spiderman use a texture as in the fusion below.

FEET SWAP
We wanted to try and avoid swapping feet since implementing it was a very difficult task that would make a lot of fusions look very silly very easily.
But we found a great way and it was unavoidable in order to make fusions look their best.

NEZUKO MUZZLE
Implementing a muzzle like the character Nezuko's was difficult because until now characters either had a muzzle or a mouth and nose but Nezukos would require the position and type to switch depending on if the fusions already involved a muzzle.

TATTOOS / SCARS
Many characters have iconic markings like patches, tattoos and scars so we have made it so they can be added to any fusion,

TAIL ATTACHMENTS
This one is kind of unnecessary but again it will work great in the Custom Character Maker and can make a fusion look great! (For example adding Charizards fire to any tail)

(As you can also see above, fusions can now use both ears and horns together)
FILTERS AND TEXTURES
This generator will basically allow you to change the color of every part but we have added textures and filters too!
FILTERS
Filters can be added to colors or on top of textures, it can give a furry, scaly etc look and could even be used to add battle damage!


ARM ATTACHEMENTS
The gun arm isn't really new but the update allows for a lot more range and can used on one or two arms now.

A FEW MORE BEFORE AND AFTERS
Remember we chose the characters that would likely give us the most problems so we can find them now and wont have to go back and edit 100's of characters later on.

This has been just a few of the improvements and changes we have made but there are so many many more we couldn't include.
LASTLY, A FEW HAND-PICKED FUSION FOR YOU TO ENJOY!

THE BIG QUESTION
When?
The release of a playable BETAV3.5 was delayed until we had something more complete and less buggy to show you.
We want to give fixed date but can only give an estimate of the end of June for a BETA.
But as you can see things are really coming along so it's only a matter of time.
As for the full release that is expected in a few months at least since we need to add the other 220 odd initial characters.
It seems like a lot but adding characters doesn't actually take as long as coding a good fusion algorithm.
And if we have chosen our test characters correctly there should be little if no coding required for new characters.
Also about swapping parts!
Adding a quick way to add and swap out parts would be a great way to enjoy customization before a full character creator is ready. So we are considering that too.
