Midterm update on Devotion v0.09
Added 2025-10-31 08:08:05 +0000 UTCHi fellas, it's time for another midterm update, so I'll share some details about development that is going. My general feeling is that so far the pace is more or less acceptable for the planned scope. I didn't have to worry about bugs this time, so I could go straight for the new stuff.
First of all, I've done some work and reevaluation about required characters for this section of the game, it requires 9 more new characters to add except for the ones in this update. Two new characters content was already added, first is the female owner of the hair-dressing salon, she's also mother of Lana, your sister's friend. Second is male local business owner, who will also have some part-time job to offer when his content is advanced in future updates.
Then goes the Arty's content, I've already added the transfer to new desire level and related code to that and now finishing up finding and adding videos for his scenes. But then will go quite the long process of writing and connecting the scenes via script. No new scenes will be added for him, but I don't think it's an issue considering that the current amount is only slightly less than it is for Viktor.
And of course I haven't even touched the part for Timothy and his content, it will go the last. For now my rough estimation is that the development will take about 3 more weeks to finish.
