Denizens of the tower!

This illustration took longer than usual. It's a large sprawling, non-linear underground location. Two levels, interconnected in many ways. The location has a religious intent, it is a chapel dedicated to a strange statue/idol in Area 7.

The illustration comes in the usual formats and variants. I hope you enjoy this one. I think this is one of my best creations.

But there's more!

I wrote a cool adventure for this piece. The level 3-4 adventure is about a strange new cult who kidnaps the cityfolk. None of them have ever escaped or been seen again. The cult's lair is in an old ruined part of town in an underground complex known as the Chapel of the Ancients. It is an old construction built by an earlier civilization. The strange stone idol (see cover) in the altar hides a terrible secret. Its influence has caused the creation of the cult. It is not just a statue. Something terrible inside tries to crawl out to freedom, little by little.
