Some Updates and Progress(Also some personal feeling)

Hey there, it's Rice!!
It's been about a year since the success of Heart Cage on Kickstarter last year.

Time flies, and I'm excited to share that I'm finally completing the first three character routes. Things are shaping up nicely and pretty much on track!
I aim to wrap up those routes by the end of the year and then dive into developing Sid, G#, and Clark's routes.
Those who've been part of the beta test might have already encountered some bad endings and Yandere endings on each route.
But there will be more! Each character will have a couple more Endings, including the Best End/Normal End and the Bad End, to keep you hooked!
I hope you'll enjoy them all!
The next update will be around October, and I will first release Dane's Chapters 8 to 9!

On another note, I recently submitted a new demo for Steam review. The review process is more rigorous than for other games because it's an 18+ game.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a smooth approval process so you all can get your hands on the new demo on Steam and maybe help bump up the wish-list count a bit!
The waiting game is tough T_T, but I'm staying positive for a good outcome!

(Now, onto something a bit more serious)
Aside from pouring my heart into Heart Cage this past year, there have been other challenges too.
It's been a rollercoaster from being swindled by a publisher to facing some harsh criticism.
While the financial setbacks weren't major, my spirit took a hit.
Ultimately, I took full control of everything, from translations to promotions.
Though a bit more demanding, I managed to handle it all without stalling the game's progress.
And guess what? I made it through!
My love for creating Heart Cage knows no bounds, and your support has been a huge motivator, especially when you share your thoughts post-play. It really means a lot.
Thanks a bunch for backing me up and for loving Heart Cage and its characters.

I'll admit, it's bittersweet to see the first three routes coming to an end, but fret not! I'll continue weaving their stories post-completion,
including the promised Highschool edition of Heart Cage!
Once I wrap up their routes, I'll also start sharing some behind-the-scenes insights into each character's creation!

大家好!我是米米!

自從上年Heart Cage眾籌成功後，差不多過了一年了。

想不到時間過得這麼快，而目前頭三條角色路線的制作進度已經進入尾聲，目前進度乎合預期!

我預計大概年尾就可以完成頭三條角色路線，然後著手制作Sid跟G#跟Clark的路線了。

有遊玩Beta test的玩家應該知道目前每個路線已經出現了不少的壞結局跟病嬌結局，

但在故事終結時每個角色還會有大概兩至三個結局，其中包括完美結局/普通結局跟壞結局等等!

希望大家會喜歡!

下次更新大概會在10月，我會先更新Dane的第8至第9章!

另外最近我把新的demo放上steam審核了，由於是成人向遊戲，審核比一般向遊戲來得嚴格，

如果遊戲審核失敗後重新提交，又需要多等幾天 T_T(之前提交steam頁面時也審核了幾次才通過)

現在我只能希望能快點通過，讓大家可以在steam體驗新Demo，另外也藉此增加一下願望清單的數量!

在等待的期間心情真是非常煎熬嗚嗚嗚!只能期望一切順利!

(接下來說的事方可能會有點沉重)

這一年除了埋頭制作Heart Cage外，也發生了不少事

包括了被發行商騙錢以及被一些人惡意批評等等，

雖然金錢上損失不算多，但我的心靈的確受了不少傷害，

最後我決定所有事情都自己負責，包括翻譯、上架和宣傳，

而事實是雖然辛苦一點點，但都能靠我自己去解決，也沒有拖慢遊戲進度。

最重要是，我還是成功撐過來了!

因為我真的非常非常喜歡制作Heart Cage，我對這個作品的愛勝於任何事情。

當然你們的支持也讓我有了很大的動力，尤其當你們告訴我遊玩感想時，我真的非常快樂。

真的很感謝你們的支持，也感謝你們喜歡Heart Cage跟Heart Cage的角色。

老實說我已經開始有點不捨得頭三條路線快要結束了，不過我還會在完成後繼續寫他們的後續故事，

還有之前說的學園版Heart Cage!

之後等我完成了他們的路線後也會陸續分享每個角色的創作心得!
