Even reddit is full of Buffy spoilers, Alyson's social media reaction in response to the Stacey Abrams articles is trending too. Alley can't go anywhere now without someone trying to spoil the show.

2020-11-13 03:19:47 +0000 UTCLove that he puts it all in so naturally and not obviously too. That they often just seem like an aside, or just fun little scenes. "Oh Willow is floating pencils. That's cool". Other examples of Chekhov's gun are like the ejector seat in the passenger side of James Bond's car. Why the passenger side? Well we know it will come into play, and when a bad guy gets in the passenger seat, we KNOW what is going to happen. And I'm not saying that's bad for that type of movie, but I like how things that you don't necessarily realize are going to play out, are already shown early on. And there's lots more in the show, that I won't mention due to spoilers.

Joss even likes to next level his foreshadowing with “Chekov’s Red Herring” (like back in “Phases” where Buffy and Xander share a long lingering look after a comfort hug, just so that when “Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered” comes along, the audience might not catch on too soon that Buffy is acting because of the love spell...as just one example), using a smart audiences familiarity with writing tropes and patterns against them. One of the big ones he likes to use(I jokingly call it the “Laugh like a butterfly, Sting like a bee” approach) is where he uses humour to get an audience to let their emotional guard down, so the big painful tragic moments hit us when we’re least expecting and prepared for them. He has a gift for both rewarding and punishing clever and attentive viewers, and we Love/Hate him for it. (🥰/😡)

2020-11-12 02:36:13 +0000 UTC'Twas a "big reveal" regarding Cordelia because to this point in the series, Cordy has been the spoiled daughter of wealthy parents so she always has a car and the most fashionable clothing. For her to be working in the dress-shop, rather than just shopping for a dress is a BIG REVEAL, particularly after Xander's comments at the beginning of the episode.

2020-11-11 21:53:09 +0000 UTCits always happened. just less time consuming to upload to one hub and wait the 48 hours before the "blocked in all countries" is dropped. if I dispute it, I have to wait that long.. then I have to continue waiting to see if they will let me monetize it. so its a lot of waiting and id rather you guys get them quicker haha. but yeah, this has always been a problem, some episodes are more stubborn than others.. no idea why. I edit the same way each time 🤷🏻♀️
