Daphne on the Express (CH5)
Added 2023-02-24 17:52:59 +0000 UTCTo get you guys more value for your sub, I'm going to be posting some character images from the story that you'll only find here (with the exception that I might post a few on a Tumblr I make, for Patreon advertising purposes).
I always pictured Daphne as a black-haired beauty (and indeed wrote her that way), but I read that most people thought of her as an icy blue-eyed blonde. What do you guys think? I think I'll make some sly edits to the story, since I want what you guys picture and what I write to be one and the same.
Things I like about this image
a) The concept of a Hogwarts uniform as House-colored Scottish plaid, with the schoolgirls trying to make it as skimpy as possible. Hey, if you need to marry well before school ends, it makes sense? And once someone does it, you always have to compete...
b) The idea that carriages on the train are House-colored and sorted. With the firsties not being sorted by House, I get why it wasn't done. But when the rest of Hogwarts is so segmented...
c) She's got the pureblood aristocratic look down, IMO.
