1/6 Status Update

This update is going to be mainly about Netoria as there's a lot of news with that game. The planned release is still this month, but I'm not exactly sure when anymore. It might end up being more towards the end.

The reason for that is that the game's character and scene artist had to leave the project due to personal issues. They're okay, but not in a position to be able to work on the game anymore. This is bad, but not an insurmountable problem. I had the artist for ATMOF take over the scenes that were supposed to be done already for the first release this month.

They're a good artist and I enjoy working with them, so they'll turn out well. This does delay art for ATMOF a bit, but that's better then pushing back Netoria since it's for the TFGamesite contest I'm running that has a deadline at the end of the month. I guess I am in charge of the contest and could push it back, but that doesn't seem fair. The ATMOF artist can't take over all the work needed in the future though, so I need to find a new permanent artist for the project. So unfortunately I have to deal with that now which is going to cost me time and money I wasn't planning on. But it'll be fine in the end. 

As far as things like writing and game design go, currently I'm working on the second release of the game. I pretty much finished everything for the first already. That means that previews of new content will be able to be released pretty much right on the tail of the game's launch. I'd like to keep up this momentum since the planned one month between updates is pretty small for the amount of content that's going to be in each of them. There's only four updates including the initial release before the game is finished. The first has 15 levels, the second 5, the third 4 and the last one 5 epilogue levels. So the content is pretty front-loaded, but there's still lots of stuff in the later updates especially with all the various routes that change aspects of the story and character dynamics.

What happens after that depends on how I'm feeling and how the reception is. If a bunch of people subscribe to the Patreon just for Netoria, it'd be easy to expand with more content, such as adding in scenes in areas of the game that are a little underdeveloped, like lesbian content or more options for the female transformation of Carwyn.

I really liked writing the game and am thinking about making this the first in a series of short development time games centered around NTR content. Of course, "short development time" still means around half a year, but in game dev terms that's nothing. I already have a lot of ideas for what the next one would be. But of course, I might release this and find people hate it, so I'm not putting too many eggs in the cuckoldry basket yet (plus that's a great way to get your eggs stolen by a sexy, swole duck). But as a vague preview, I'm thinking cyberpunk.

For people who don't like NTR, these will still just be side games if they happen. ATMOF is the future of this Patreon, and I'm really happy with how it's going. Ideally, the plan for this upcoming year is to release and add new girls to ATMOF, do small side games under the Netoria label, have Naked Ambition updates coming out periodically as I work on Clothed Ambition, and relase the full Steam version of Futa Oasis at the end of the year.
