Naked Ambition 1/15

Today's update is mainly focused on two things. The first thing is that a lot of art for .6 is done, most of it actually. So I'm going to release a test build soon. Next week at the latest maybe earlier. The second is that my mental health has gone down the toilet since me and my family got Covid. Let's talk about the fun thing first. 

Last time I showed you art from the first week of the Festival of the Moon, this time around it's the second week. After the competitions, it's time for some end of the year dancing. Who the Princess dances with decides who she ends up with at the end of the game and what path the ending takes. Every character who has a sprite so far is an option, so there's a lot of choices. For trainers, just get far enough down their route. For council members you need to have two hearts with them, which means getting a heart at the first meeting and then getting another one either during the Festival of Flames of the second meeting. And for the player character... just take a look.

This route is always an option (unless you're forced onto a trainer one). As with the previous interactions between the Princess and the PC, there are variations based on which of the personal relationship stats is highest. So a high love relationship will have a different outcome than a high anxiety one. 

Each route has different dynamics, so a Princess-Dancer relationship has a very different tone than a Princess-Inquisitor relationship.

Guess Gales doesn't like to dance. Maybe that stoicism is what the Princess likes in him. Naked Ambition is all about how different relationships can change the Princess, so who she ends up with drastically changes the path she ends up taking.

Now for the less fun part of this. I'm going to keep this short because I'm not trying to make this a sob story. Essentially, after Naked Ambition .6 comes out, I need to take some kind of break. What that entails I don't really know right now. It might be only a week, it might mean no major content releases next month. I'm hoping just a short bit of time away from working and dealing with some family stuff and I'll be ready to get back to the grind. Regardless, this shouldn't be a too big deal for you as patrons, but I feel it's your right to know.
