8/21 Status Update
Added 2020-08-21 19:28:20 +0000 UTCTF Card Battle 1.0 comes out tomorrow, so that's mostly what I've been working on. WIth it's release, TF Card Battle will finally be in beta, or at least my definition of beta. That means that all planned features and content will be in place. So if new TFs and theme packs are mostly done for now, what's next?
Step 1: The big balance update. I'll spend a lot of time adjusting cards and numbers to make everything more equal in power level. You've probably noticed that the game isn't really balanced, but that's because that hasn't really been a priority. So let's fix that.
Step 2: The port. TF Card Battle has outgrown it's HTML engine and deserves something that will let it breath and look better. The HTML client will still be around, but this should be a really big improvement.
But those two updates are in the future. The next thing I'm working on is Naked Ambition .5. The Trello board has been updated, so you can go check my progress on it. Right now the progress is nothing. But stuff will be coming hard and fast. .5 is mostly focused on new trainer events, along with a fifth trainer, and another festival. It should be out next month. Naked Ambition will be the main focus until it gets further along, although I will continue the alternating release schedules if I can.
The next side project I've been talking about is going to be big. I'm spending a lot of my stored up Patron money on it's art. Because of this, this game is going to be a change in how my games are monetized, but if you've been a Patron for a while or are of a high tier, nothing should change for you.
That's all for this week, I hope you all enjoy TF Card Battle 1.0.
