Being a Magical Girl is about being an ordinary student by day and fighting the forces of darkness by night.

The main mechanic behind the transformation is corruption. Each turn, corruption grows based on how high your TF is. If you get above 10 corruption, you lose the battle against darkness and you and the world become corrupt.

Each card in the Magical Girl set has two versions, pure and corrupted. Keep your corruption low and the class is a brain focused strategy with payoffs at high TF levels. Let corruption grow unchecked and Magical Girl becomes heart and submission based with late payoffs based on how high your corruption gets. Once your corruption ticks over to ten, there's no turning back and all the Magical Girl cards already in your deck transform. One of the most unique things about the class is you can spend the early game buying brain producing cards, but have those cards turn into ones sub producing ones late game.

The corrupted versions of cards show what card it transformed from in the bottom left corner. It also has a different theme symbol. Getting the theme bonus of one half doesn't give you the other, they're separate.

Some of the pairs have very obvious mechanical connections.

While others have more of a thematic connection.
Magical Girl is a class that has a lot of ways to play it. Will you reject chaos and try to remain pure? Will you risk high TF levels to buy more powerful brain cards, or stay at low levels where it's safer? Or will embrace evil and your new tentacle overlords. And yes, there are lots of tentacles.

This has been one of my favorite transformations I've made so far and I hope you all enjoy it. The test build will come out soon.
