How about Emily and Paul getting stuck somewhere and transforming at the same time? Perhaps Emily was confronting Paul when the moon started to rise, or some similar scenario.

It’d be inside their own home and not within a Public setting and the transformation was stopped before the front head would’ve turned into the wolf muzzle.
