My Delivery System Chapter 16: Circle Of Lust

Realizing where he is right now, made him feel relieved more than anything else, knowing which world he was in help him feel secure, at the knowledge that he's at least familiar of how things works here.

And suddenly after hearing Pandemonica's words, he knew that those were said professionally rather than saying it out of kindness.

However, he could use this, if Helltaker could do it, then he probably should be able to do the same. "Then, will you help me find the customer that I'm delivering in the Second Circle Of Hell : Lust?"

Pandemonica adjusted her glasses, and stared at him tiredly and replied. "Odd request, but not the oddest one in my career, alright I'll help you find your customer…"

Hiru beamed at her answer, now he got himself a guide, she would be handy help.

"So, can you open that gate?" He pointed at the gate that leads to the second circle.

"No." Pandemonica answered immediately.

"Why? Is it because mortals restricted from entering?"

"No, you misunderstood me, I can't open it. Do I look like I can open a mountain size gate?"

Looking at her scrawny arms, the answer is obvious. "No, you can't but you can use magic to push it..?"

If Pandemonica wasn't tired as she is, she would have probably glared at him, but she was too tired to do that and just answered. "Look, I don't know what you know about us demons, but we don't do magic like you mortals believe us to have, instead we have this thing called Demon Force, which allows us to do supernatural things and speaking of that, I don't have enough Demon Force to open that massive gate, only the strongest of us can."

Oh, that was something new, he learned things that wasn't mentioned in the original game, but seriously though 'Demon Force'? What kind of lazy ass naming sense is that?

Don't tell me, the powers of the angel of this world is called 'Holy Force' now, that's just lazy naming.

There's no way right?

"If you demon calls your powers 'Demon Force', then the angel powers must be called 'Holy Force' right?" Hiru said sarcastically.

And to his utter surprise, he was correct.

"Indeed, that's what the angels called their power." Pandemonica replied devoid of emotions.

His has dropped for a bit, can't believe that the powers of angel is truly called Holy Force.

"Right…" You know what, he wasn't going to question that anymore, because frankly it makes him question things about this world more and their bland naming sense.

"Either, way if you want to go the second circle, there's another way." Pandemonica informed him.

Hiru's eyes lit up and replied. "How?"

Adjusting her glasses, and said. "Follow me."

And he did.

Hiru didn't know what to think at the moment, and couldn't stop himself from saying. "This is a bit anticlimactic, not gonna lie."

"Hmm? Why? Did you expect to go through a trial before passing through the second circle?"

"Yes, that's exactly what I was expecting." Hiru replied as he remembered Helltaker doing puzzles before reaching the demon girls.

But it seems that it's the case here, Pandemonica stares at him. "If you want to-"

Before she could finish her sentence, she was cut off by his words. "No thank you, I prefer this, so I just need to get inside this door and I'll be in the second circle."

"Yes."

"Alright then, let's go!"

With his lead, they stepped at the Second Circle Of Hell : Lust.

Unlike the first circle, there's actually buildings around this place, also…is that a city..?

Hiru couldn't help but be surprised, to think there's a city in hell, it wasn't in the game, but then again reality is different so he should expect things to be different here.

"The customer you're looking for is probably within the city of lust." Pandemonica pointed at the city a few kilometer away from them.

Seeing that it's quite far away, he eyed Pandemonica and said. "It's quite far away, hop in, so that we will arrive faster."

Not having energy to argue, she could only nod and sat behind his scooter, and they started moving toward the city.

Before arriving, he asked for questions to satisfy his curiosity. "By the way, what's the point of that mountain-like gate if there's an alternative way to get into the next circle?"

Pandemonica thought for a bit before answering. "That's simple, it's to make the mortal souls think that they can't get out of that place, to make them feel hopelessness and despair, accepting that they would never be able to get out of hell, even if there's thousands of them pushing that game, it won't move a bit unless a demon uses their Demon Force."

And hearing that makes him regret asking that question, he realized just now that he's talking with a literal demon, a creature that was born from the sins of mankind.

"R-right, speaking of souls, what about the souls who were assigned in this circle? Are they able to live in this city?"

"Yes." Pandemonica answered.

Hiru couldn't help but thought. 'Maybe circle isn't as bad as I thought..'

However, the next second he immediately took back those words because…

"However, they would either be used as sex toys for the demon who lives here for eternity or used for amusement, and be discarded after being damaged."

Yep, he was really in hell, what did he expect a happy place for the souls? Nope, it was naive for him to think that and he wouldn't think anything positive of this place.

"Speaking of which, you need a disguise if you don't want to get tear limb to limb the demons of this circle." Pandemonica advised, normally she wouldn't give a fuck if he died, but since she give him, her word that she would guide him to his customer, she would at least give him an advice.

In hell, words have power, they may lie, cheat, or even kill, but once a demon gives you their word, they would do anything to fulfill it, despite being known as the beings of sin, they are honorable with their words.

It's simply a tradition amongst the demon kind, because once you break the unwritten oath, no one would trust you.

That's why in hell, promises have powers.

Hearing that, he paused for a bit, while he may not be able to harm him physically and mentally, these demon could still trap him after realizing his near invincibility, that's why he needed to be cautious here not to get caught, no matter how durable he may be, he's still inexperience in a lot of things, also if he get caught it would be trouble more than it's worth.

With a sheepish look, he asked Pandemonica. "About that…can you help me with my disguise?"

Touching the bridge of her nose, she sighs. "Alright, however this disguise will only last half-hour, so you should hurry."

Better than nothing, Hiru nodded. "Alright, do it."

Pandemonica, with her Demon Force, started transforming him into one of her kind, a demon.

With a little black horns spurting in his head, a pale skin that was paler than his earlier skin tone, and lastly his eyes were now ruby blood red, like any demons.

"Now, you look exactly like a demon and also I've masked your 'scent' so that they wouldn't realize that you're a human being, but they would still notice if they are close enough to smell you." Pandemonica said as sweat started to appear on her forehead.

He thought as he saw her condition. 'It must have taken a lot for her to make my disguise, I shouldn't waste this opportunity that she made me.'

After that, they finally arrived at the City of Lust, honestly it looks eerily similar to a human modern city, maybe they used it as a model.

Before entering the city, he hid his scooter because it would attract unnecessary attention if he were to ride it inside the city, considering there isn't any vehicles aside from those skeleton horses being tied with a carriage, despite their houses looking modern, however their appliances is nowhere near humanities after all, they are just imitating humans.

As soon as he stepped inside the city with Pandemonica by his side, he immediately heard an interesting conversation from the couple demon near.

"I bet you can't make me sad and happy at the same time." The male demon said to his girlfriend.

"What?"

"I said, I bet you can't make me sad and happy at the same time!" The male demon repeated a bit loudly this time.

Hearing that, the female demon looked at him with a mischievous smile and answered. "From all of your friends, you have the biggest penis of them all."

The male demon couldn't answer as he was speechless. "Wha…how…I…huh..?"

'Ooooo…that sucks.' Hiru cringes as he hears the full conversation, honestly if he was in the same situation with the demon, he would probably react the same.

Moving forward, not wanting to waste time by hearing the male demon reaction after he regained his bearing.

After a couple of minutes, he arrived at his destination, while Pandemonica who was by his side couldn't help but look surprised when she saw the building. "This…"

"What is it?" Hiru noticed her reaction and couldn't help but ask.

"I know the demon who lives here."

"That's great, who is it?" Hiru asked with interest.

"It's Modeus."

Hearing that familiar name, he replied. "Oh…"

A/N: I think everyone knows who she is after I mentioned the Circle Of Lust, as she's the only known devil in the Helltaker series who is openly lustful.

But despite that, she considered romance as the kinkiest in all of history.
