The only point I’m particularly interested to understand is why the Hail Satan characters didn’t experience the wedding oddities which other branches did, at one or more of the ceremonies? Even though they weren’t weddings as such, even the prom elements of two of the branches had that phenomenon

2025-12-24 03:15:58 +0000 UTCYou’ve identified one of the biggest shortcomings of the QT version of the harem model. While the M/F ratio and “bonded for life” features drive the plot framework, like a snowball rolling downhill, authors inevitably acquire an unmanageable/unwieldy number of girls, all of which should periodically make substantive appearances. Personally, I quickly tire of “another” sex scene with long time harem members, unless there’s something unique about the experience. It’s the new additions, and how they come about, and what makes them unique, that keeps the erotica going. If new girls aren’t being added to keep it interesting and spicy inside the harem, the plot line should be moving forward outside the harem. (Removing criminal gangs, saving friends and family in far flung cities, or having other adventures.) I absolutely love QTNW, but where I seem to lose interest and find myself, skipping paragraphs, are the “administrative“, touching base sidebars with all the characters and their feelings over a barbecue releases (yawn). I understand other fans may feel the opposite. Given its fiction, participating authors, could develop a plot device, whereby girls could either be released from service, or need less frequent infusions to stay alive. Maybe after a year or two of daily weekly doses, they build up longer term immunity. That would allow new acquisitions while transitioning off previous additions that are now minor characters.

I cannot remember the author but was about going back to a small town and his brother died leaving behind his wife, they were both bullied by the brother. Imagine growing up in a small town and all the girls you had crushes on. All the guys pass away leaving you with all of them.

2025-12-21 03:51:35 +0000 UTCTbh... yours is the best of the lot (QTNW) - but I stopped liking it because the number of girls are just so many to a point where the older girls have lost all relevance in the story. I think this would have been great if the girls were added more slowly and there was good development and staying power for the girls to do something other than just exist. Other than a couple of girls the others don't do anything other than show up for sex or have a bit of dialogue here and there. There were some really good characters too - esp Kara. Pity the series prioritizes collecting new women to actually exploring what can be done with the existing cast. I don't read QT of any other author's anymore. Perhaps I'm in the minority here but the relationships are pretty poor in this series.
