An Important Update on Our Schedule

Hey everyone, we wanted to take a moment to talk openly and honestly about some changes we need to make to our schedule.

Simply put, our current approach is unsustainable. We’ve pushed ourselves too hard and spread ourselves too thinly, which has led to frequent last-minute cancellations and mounting stress as we try to either catch up or admit that we can’t.

We love what we do. Sharing a huge volume of content with you every week brings us unbelievable joy, and the last thing we ever want is to let you down. But for this to remain sustainable, some changes are necessary. These changes don’t need to be drastic, but they will result in a slight reduction in overall content.

What’s Changing?

The biggest shift is how we count content. Right now, we base our schedule on the number of videos we release. Going forward, we’ll be shifting to counting the hours of content we react to instead.

From Tuesday to Sunday, we will react to approximately one hour of content per day. The structure of the week is staying the same:

• Tuesday: Treasure + Variety

• Wednesday: NCT

• Thursday: Seventeen

• Friday: Variety

• Saturday: EXO

• Sunday: Seventeen

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday will remain largely unchanged.

Saturday and Sunday will see a reduction in the number of videos due to the length of the content we typically react to on those days.

What Does This Mean for Seventeen & EXO?

Seventeen:

• We’ll be reacting to about an hour of Going Seventeen on Thursday.

• This week, that means Parts 1 & 2 of Boomily Outing.

• We’ll be polling Carat Patrons soon to decide how we balance Greatest Hits and Classic episodes moving forward.

EXO:

• This week, we’ll react to Heart4U, with a longer episode than usual.

• We’ve heard your feedback that you also want us to continue EXO 90:2014, so we’ll be polling EXO-L Patrons soon to decide how to balance both series.

We know changes can be frustrating, but it’s vital that we make adjustments to keep the channel sustainable. Equally, it’s important that we continue to base our decisions on your input, which is why your feedback will continue to shape the direction of all our content streams as these updates take effect.

Updates for Ult & Transcendent Biases

• Drama Series (Extraordinary Attorney Woo & Vincenzo) are moving to mid-week slots. We initially scheduled them for weekends to give ourselves more recording time, but that hasn’t worked out as planned.

• NEW! Simon will be starting a solo reaction series to Anime – kicking off with Attack on Titan! He’s really excited to bring this to you and can’t wait to get started this week.

Addressing Recent Cancellations

We won’t ignore the elephant in the room – we’ve had to cancel a lot of content recently. We don’t want that to happen, and we believe that changes to our recording schedule will help in two major ways:

• Reducing stress, making it easier to stay on track.

• Allowing us to record in advance, giving us more flexibility when life gets in the way.

That said, these benefits won’t happen overnight. To avoid more last-minute cancellations, we’ll be looking ahead at our week and preemptively adjusting the schedule when necessary.

Simon still takes occasional freelance work, Kerry has a minor operation scheduled this month, and we have young children. While it’s impossible to predict everything that might get in the way, we can do better than we have done recently. We hope you’ll accept our apology and bear with us as we apply the changes we need to prevent this in the future.

Final Thoughts

We are very aware that this channel does not exist without you. Our community is the keystone of everything we do, and every decision we make is carefully considered to find the best way forward.

We know this message contains disappointing news, and we hate that. If we could have avoided this, we would have. But the reality is, pretending we could do everything is what got us into this situation in the first place.
