To add to the end conversation, a few other soloists that are generally more well-known/popular than groups they were in would be Hyuna and Sunmi (wonder girls and 4minute were obviously huge at the time but nowadays they're both more known for their solo stuff), Amber (f(x)), Hyolyn (sistar), Somi (i.o.i), Hwesung (n.flying), lee hyori (fin.k.l), bm (kard), and lay (at least from a chinese perspective). Even more so I'd say is the pipeline of idols to actors that many people don't even realise were idols let alone which group they were in.

Thanks for playing my Suran request; I love her voice, and TY features perfectly. Random Fun Facts: Suran and Taeyong co-wrote/composed "Diamonds" with a mutual producer friend that introduced them. Suran is also featured on Taeyong's song "Lonely." She has her own label called S-Tasy and is a breast cancer survivor.

More on the succesfull solos you may not know where in a group: Yes, Rain was breifly in a group that totally failed. Also Jay Park (was in 2PM but left quickly).

Bring it on gave me chills! It's so good! I am glad Sarah suggested this especially after the GoSe reaction we saw last week with the unit reverse. Als,o Woozi's name in Korean is written and spelled as Uji and comes from Uri Jihoon (our Jihoon). That's what he was called during training days. (That's what I have heard). And for Hoshi I think is Ho(Horangi)+Shi(Shiseon) (Tiger's Gaze) in Korean. But in Japanese Hoshi also means Star.

Idk Korean but I know that Woozi is shorten from “Uri Jihoon” which means “Our Jihoon”. I'm not sure if that's it about his stage name so if there's something else help me out carats 🤚

Bring it is literally my top 3 from the whole Seventeen's discography 😩🤌🏻🤌🏻 The impact that song has on me is insane

dav

OMG your stream was on my BD 🤣🤣

Thank you, Sarah, for requesting Howoo/Soonhoon's BRING IT!🙏🏻💕 Been thinking about it since the last GoSe reaction (caratland unit reverse). All Carats should know that gem esp we're looking forward to a possible Howoo comeback (which hopefully be an album this tume)

TVXQ/DBSK were crying in that famous Proud performance because that was the first concert tour they had wherein they were doing arenas, meaning they were finally making it in Japan, a good 2 years or so after they started full promotions there. They literally started at the bottom over there, singing in music store staircases in Tokyo while in Korea they were already at the top of the idol group hierarchy. So yeah, there were tears everywhere in that show the video clip is from.
