Nine years later, on her birthday, Eun-tak unknowingly summons Shin by blowing out a candle. This moment allows Shin to return, though she does not recognise him. As Shin realises he has been erased from her memory, he stays close to her, hoping to reignite the connection they once had. Their reunion is bittersweet, as Eun-tak feels an inexplicable pull towards him, even though she cannot remember who he is.

Reconnecting with Old Friends

Shin also reconnects with Reaper and Deok-hwa, and to his surprise, Reaper remembers him. This unexpected memory leads to a moving moment of reconciliation between the two, as Reaper expresses regret for his inability to protect Shin or love anyone in his past life. Their bond deepens as they reflect on their shared history and the consequences of their fates.

Rebuilding a Lost Connection

As Shin quietly integrates himself back into Eun-tak's life, she slowly begins to piece together fragments of her forgotten past. The emotional weight of their relationship and the mysteries of her lost memories drive the episode, building towards a powerful and emotional climax.

With its poignant exploration of memory, love, and fate, Episode 14 continues to pull at viewers' heartstrings, setting the stage for the resolution of Shin and Eun-tak's intertwined destinies.
