2019-07-23 06:16:35 +0000 UTCI'm stuck with the guild quest to catch monarch because I can't access the plains. Some people said that I should gain access to it after catching the imp as a crafting quest from prof Laurel, but I didn't get this quest either. Can you help me out?

2019-06-25 19:33:38 +0000 UTCAlso, since we're on the subject of early-game pacing, I feel like the "flashback to prologue" is handled a little weird. The protagonist sorta doesn't remember the encounter, but then clearly does, and if someone hasn't played the prologue, having the narrative structured like that really makes no sense and is confusing. Have you considered having the game just start with the prologue? I feel like the prologue as it was originally written can flow into the call-to-action of the main game pretty easily.

2019-06-22 06:54:41 +0000 UTCI think keeping players invested is all about making the rewards feel earned, personally, and I think the affection meter was a good way to do that. If you're dedicated to making the gameplay a fun and rewarding part of the experience, as you clearly are, players aren't going to get bored waiting for a sex scene. I kinda feel that way about the current texting system too, it would be cool if each unique text conversation was set at a certain affection threshold to make some of the naughtier stuff feel more earned,

Working the girls up to like you and then banging them just seems more natural and also feels way more rewarding. The rest of the update is fire tho. Keep up the good word!

2019-06-20 20:45:25 +0000 UTCHonestly, I don't have a good reason for not liking them, it just doesn't feel right to me. I would say that the player should have a choice in who to sleep with and when or that the new sex scene implementation makes them feel unearned, but I imagine those are pretty irrelevant arguments. Only the Miruku and Clarabelle scenes bothered me. I was fine with the way the Circe scene was handled, which I guess is because it felt more natural to me. I suppose I just prefer adventuring with a girl for a while and getting to interact with her and know her then having the sex as a sort of pay-off rather than sleeping with a girl the same day you recruit her. Overall it's a pretty dumb criticism to have against a game that's all about the tiddy, but it's the only change in this update that I don't really like.

I will say that I personally don't care for having sex as an automatic thing in the story. I understand why the change was made, but I think having the Newgrounds Prologue flashback is enough for giving the player an early game sex scene. Regardless I'm excited to see what the future holds for the game.

2019-06-18 23:57:09 +0000 UTCthe bug went away, so unfortunately I cannot do that, however I can tell you that it happened when I tried texting the monarch the same evening she joined my party, if that helps (it was literally the first thing I did after she joined). Sorry, I should have saved the message when it first happened.
