Going Seventeen - Season 1 - Episodes 0 to 3

Hello Patrons! We’re starting our trip down memory lane with the first episodes of "Going Seventeen." From the prologue to Episode 3, join us as we revisit the early days of Seventeen, capturing their youthful energy and the pivotal moments that marked the beginning of their journey to stardom.

In these initial episodes, we get a behind-the-scenes look at Seventeen as they travel to the United States to film the music video for "Don't Wanna Cry." The prologue and early episodes showcase a very young and energetic Seventeen, exploring new territories both literally and artistically. The footage from these days not only highlights their hard work and dedication but also their hopes and dreams taking shape.

The journey doesn’t stop at the MV shoot. We also follow the members to the set of "Show Champion," where they experience a significant milestone—winning the award for the weekly number one song. The joy and excitement of this early win are palpable, as it represents one of their first major recognitions in the K-Pop industry.

I wonder why you don’t see Joshua or Vernon in episodes 2/3 lol

Guys you went REAL back, it will be about 2 years of content before you get to the start of the variety stuff. At one ep a week you will get to the 2019 beginning of the variety stuff in at least a year lmao

Dana

I'm glad you are watching from the beginning because then I can check if I did watch everything or if I accidentally missed some things along the way.

SesameKat9

i think you got it wrong lol the skit was a Going Seventeen comeback special. these kind of GoSe episodes only started last year with BSS comeback and then the God of Music parody lol the part where they actually talk about their actual comeback and stuff is during the comeback day (April 29!) it's a separate content lmao anyway looking forward to revisiting old GoSe with you guys! ❤️

just watched and wow .. it's been years since ive seen this content. it's a little emotional tbh .. watching this on the weekend where they're performing at the Seoul World Cup stadium with so many of their peers and celebs and 70,000+ fans in attendance. they've come SO FAR in their careers and found so much success and yet they've remained exactly the same people lol. they truly are a one of a kind group imo

kaia ♡

their early episodes are so cute they look so innocent 😭

jane

omg so excited

god I was a starbucks barista in 2017 and seeing them asking for the unicorn frappuccino gave me legit flashbacks... my store ran out in one day and I had to tell soooo many people that they couldn't get it. at least none of them were internationally renowned kpop idols to my knowledge!!

Carats are so blessed fr! I can’t wait to go through this journey again with you guys, it’s literally been ages since I’ve seen these eps and I’m sure I’ve forgotten a ton so that’ll be fun. Also I’m super excited for nana tour!!

Prinn

Damn ya'll really went back 😂 I forgot how questionable Mingyu's fashion was back in the day, his 2.3 billion won assets fashion...

Purple Spirit

You seemed to mention that the first 11 or so episodes are like this-- might have been you mispeaking, but just in case you weren't, in the interest in avoiding even more potential GoSe confusion this week I feel it's my duty to mention it's a lot more than that 😅I just took a quick look at the wiki page, by my reckoning they start talking about turning it into a variety show around ~57 episodes in, and proper Going Seventeen arguably gets going around 67 episodes in. Its probably going to be months before you get to start the actual show. Just thought it might be useful to know for your mental scheduling- the wiki page if it helps? : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Going_Seventeen_(web_series) Anyway, grateful for all the SVT content- especially excited for NaNa tour 🙏

Ally

Carats we really are blessed with all the content 🫶🫶 i haven't seen these early episodes in YEARS so it's so nice and nostalgic to rewatch 😭 really excited for nana tour as well!!!

Eva

Carats are so well fed these days 🥹 thank you!!

Laus

Seventeen still usually have a comeback special but it’s usually a live stream just before the album release so it will probably be 8-9am on Monday! That’s when they talk about the songs and show the albums themselves Going seventeen comes out weekly on Wednesday at 1pm UK time.

Sarah_little

ahhhhhh here we go. im so excited to re-watch along with you guys! ty so much for bringing us along

kaia ♡

To be fair, 17 also talk about the albumn but it's more often like 2 hours before the release of the albumn so as a UK person normally you wake up on the day and are like oh more content. Going 17 comes out wednesday afternoon at 2pm UK time I think its at least between 12 and 3pm. You also may want to do the variety shows as 2 parts at once so you get through it quicker it would than be like 1 hour viewing but you have 7 years of going to catch up with. Obviously up to you though and what you have time for.

Thank you 🙏

i do think you can’t go wrong by watching going seventeen in chronological orders. it’s a much more gratifying experience because of how much they mention past episodes throughout the seasons. Thank you for reacting to so much seventeen content.
