Why new subscribers almost never comment

on old videos? When you subscribed:

Love to you too.

Jorge del Toro

I don't tend to comment on the older videos as I refer to them in current and recent productions. However,I refer to and watch them constantly and lately, Sergio, I have noticed how your work has progressed in its creativity, not improved as such as they are fabulous already! I think newer subscribers should be aware of the older videos as they set the tone of your channel. For what it's worth, I think that if wasn't for your initial YT posts and the obvious gulf in quality between yours and other meagre attempt at ASMR, I would never be here. So thank you, Sergio. My love to you all❤❤❤

I actually had no idea collections were even a thing until you mentioned them 😵😬 I thought it was just your page that had these, but turns out it's a Patreon feature I've never noticed/utilized until just now.

You also have collections for search. Im adding new lists slowly. I must add more.

People have shared a lot of the reasons as to why I think commenting on old videos might seem odd. I'll also add that it will depend on the video/model as well. Also consider that some of your other subscribed patrons might have already said something that is easier to just like (re: lazy). By and large, I think your 2nd poll point is accurate. (Sifting through old content on Patreon is also a pain in the ass, as it's not the most intuitive or responsive system when there's a lot of content.)

Como estoy desde el principio, he visto y comentado todo lo que me ha gustado.

Also, there's always new people so if everyone commented the conversation would never be old

Jorge del Toro

The problem is if people don't comment on old ones, for me it feels like they are not interesting for new subscribers, which fucks up a bit the sense of going in the right path. Not sure you know what I mean

Jorge del Toro

(Tho I’m still the type that WOULD comment on your older posts if I was a new subscriber. Some of them are extremely inspiring 🤤)

I think the second might be true for more people. When I subscribe to a well-established patreon, I spend a decent amount of time scrolling through and browsing older posts (leaving likes as I go). If I enjoy the person’s work enough to invest financially I definitely want to see as much of it as I can :). People probably just feel more prompted to actually comment during “current events” because there’s a sense of conversation.

Old One. Comment a lot

Both reasons in the poll are valid for me. Also, most people are lazy!
