The one that I knew and would probably not vote for is The Wicker Man. I was NOT a fan of the remake. The original isn't amazing either but I just can't watch the remake again. No thanks on that.

2023-04-22 12:43:44 +0000 UTCDon't know why The Blob is on here given that the Mrs. almost had PTSD from Pet Sematary watching the boy get flattened by a steam roller in Maximum Overdrive. I thought it was mentioned in the live stream that The Blob had a little kid get killed by the blob.

2023-04-22 02:57:21 +0000 UTCThe Hills Have Eyes is the best here. Both versions were good, with the 2006 remake being more intense, brutal and thrilling. The Blob and Invasions of the Body Snatchers were good. I was not much of a fan of either of The Wicker Man films.

2023-04-21 16:42:23 +0000 UTCI hope you do all of these double-features at some point. For me, I'd want you to do "The Blob". It has some dubious compositing at times, but the remake is one of the last high quality, all-practical creature effects movies before CG started becoming the standard.
