S1 is done so well that when we are first shown the new setting and new characters in season two it can be hard to take in it at first. But it is a great season and really gets you ready for every subsequent seasons' mild reset and slow buildup of new settings and new characters just as good as S1!

2023-04-11 20:31:01 +0000 UTCOmar isn't back in Baltimore. That was Omar in the Bronx new york. It clearly said it on the wall. Omar is just doing the same thing in a different location. Also, without giving you any spoilers, I think you're sorry of mislead about the seasons. They do deal with a differently storyline but this isn't over. It will make sense once you get through at least season 3 but it all is really one cohesive story you just don't know that at first. Hard to explain but you will get the answers to all your questions. My favorite characters are Omar and kima and my favorite season is 3. I'm not a fan of season 2 but it's necessary. Like someone else said they are introducing new characters and expanding on some that didn't have a big role in the first season.

(Second favorite character doesn't get introduced until the end of season two, and doesn't become a focal point until season three and then again in season four, and is barely in season five. I'm sure people can guess who I'm talking about. There's never been a paper bag. Until now.)
