2023-05-14 16:23:20 +0000 UTCI like the movie and it's def an above average sequel, but I also have issues. The opening sequence is easily the best scene of the film. Same problem as the newest Mortal Kombat. If you are going to put that much effort and care in, continue that through the whole film. Second, The story is too big and farfetched. It should have continued following the dad on the boat as he dealt with the guilt and emotions of letting his wife die while also encountering the people surviving in the countryside 29 weeks later. It should be simple, dark, tragic and realistic.
