2022-06-30 22:59:09 +0000 UTCThe dream sequences in this show have so many layers and deeper meanings attached that I can write an entire novel about them alone. I will sum it up by saying the house is suppose to be Hell (or Tony's version of it) and the creepy silhouette in the stairwell is suppose to be Livia, waiting for Tony to arrive. I should also add that the dream sequences and supernatural themes in The Sopranos was largely influenced by Twin Peaks. Series creator, David Chase, was a huge fan of the show.
