That scene where Lorraine gets her hand f***ed up was probably the most gruesome for me. Her fingers were hanging by a thread. Yikes.
2022-06-08 18:30:51 +0000 UTCI watched this movie last night and it instantly became my favorite horror movie of all time. Like ya'll said, not too many jump scares, just pure suspense of wanting to look away because something terrible is about to happen. My favorite moments were the alligator in the pond with Maxine, the nail in the barn (I have stepped on a nail before so that freaked me out), Lorraine's blood curdling scream in the basement, and just so many others. Can we give this movie credit for having the surviving character GET THE GUN! Before she did anything after escaping the house she went and got the pistol from the van and I was like FINALLY!! There are very few times that characters are like that in horror. Just an awesome movie, a new favorite, definitely in my top 10 of all time. Loved every second.
