Mermay Day 9 🧜♀️ / Dancing in the Light ✨ - Process + Updates

Here's my new Mermay for Day 9! I wanted to try a different approach today and play around with Photoshop! I usually paint in Procreate for my Mermay pieces but today I wanted to try experimenting with the colours since it's a lot easier to play around with the curves tool in Photoshop!
I'm really happy with this piece! Blue and orange are one of my favourite colour combinations so I went a little crazy with it here 😜I was also inspired by birch trees so I knew I wanted to still keep the yellow as a prominent colour!
Since I was using Photoshop for this piece I used Lynn Chen's brushes (I highly recommend it for PS users! It's also free!)
I was using Wootha - Chalk Dry hair for the leaves which is available in Lynn Chen's brushes!

The postcard prints arrived yesterday so I started packing the rewards this morning! I'm almost done so I should be able to ship them by tomorrow or Monday! 🥰
