Pirates ahoy...

Over the past year, I've spent almost every free minute that I have working on this. I put out updated versions as often as I can, and you guys pay $5 to play it. I've been told quite often that I could charge more for early access, but I don't want to do that. I'm not in this to make a fortune. That said, producing this game costs a hell of a lot more money than I had originally envisaged. Yes, I do make a small profit (which supplements my Covid-hit real life income) for the hundred plus hours of work a month that I put in. I don't think that's unfair, and most of you seem to think likewise.
Sadly, one or two people don't seem to agree. Within hours of my uploading the latest version of the game, it had been leaked. Perhaps uncoincidentally, in the ten days following this, over 100 patrons left.
I know piracy is always going to happen. I can't stop people stealing my game, but I can stop them getting hold of the latest version by simply not putting out any further versions until it's complete and behind a considerably more secure paywall than Patreon. Obviously, I don't want to do this. It'll take me a lot longer to finish the game without the income generated by Patreon and the comments, suggestions etc. that I get from you all really keeps me motivated. Without this motivation, I may never finish it.
So, over to you, pirates. If you want to spoil this for everyone then go ahead. I don't mind people sharing images etc., but any further leaks of the game itself and you'll only have yourselves to blame if I pull the plug.
