Chimping the shot. Something you really don't need to do in a studio setting since the light is set up and pretty constant, but IMHO a necessity when you're shooting outside. The sun is so variable. You can shoot several shots when you get to where you think you're close. Set your screen to show the histogram and learn what your screen shows versus what will show up on the computer. Remember too that not all computer screens are equal. Candace and I were shooting into the sun with Dasha Usova as the model.
