It was great shooting with and working alongside her and comparing the shots we both got. It was also great being able to review shots with a fellow photographer and get instantaneous feedback.
Photo Tip of the Week: Even though you may be very tempted to just shoot portraits with a beautiful model, look around at the surroundings and shoot in landscape mode. You can always crop to portrait in post, but you can't reinvent the beauty of the surroundings in your photo. I shoot at medium to high apperture from f8- f13 quite a bit to capture the detail in the background. I know the rulebook (if there really is such a thing) says to shoot wide open to blur the background and get amazing bokeh, but I want to combine the beauty of the model with the beauty of the landscape.

okay somewhat too technical for me but all I know is that you end up with stunning images. ;)) Okay, I also love it when the background and setting are included as it gives context to the shot ;)))
