Added 2018-10-15 15:20:38 +0000 UTCThis was an interesting one, because lately Ive been doing so much bright stuff that when I got to this I was like "how do you color dark scenes again?", so it took me a while to get the right color balance.
Night time scenes in general are always tricky because there is a thin line between "dark enough to look like night time" and "too dark, cant see anything", especially with the character having dark skin on top of that, which makes it even harder to balance it out.
That said I really like how this turned out, its one of those super atmospheric/moody ones that work so well with my style. And I always enjoy fireplaces, they are so cozy (especially when you have those crackling sounds on top of it, maybe with some rain falling outside).
Anyway, adding a sketch of another halloween pic, although unlike the previous one, this one was made with it in mind from the start. The character is Mika, who Ive drawn a few times before, and given that she is a witch by default, it was a perfect fit. I really love this sketch, its one of those where everything just worked, and the end result was even better than what I imagined. Well, Ill be posting the colored version on 30th or 31st, so "please look forward to it".

Yep its a Yukata, and yeah Mika is supposed to be a bottom heavy character so the commissioner always makes sure I make it very plump Also I will post a Draenei portrait soon actually and I think you will like it since she has the kind of breasts we both like Ill probably get more Draenei commissions when I post that, I think I never get any because people just assume I only do ffxiv art or something

And create a splend ambiance, i love this too <3 (i can spend hours at my parents home, with their fireplace xD like you, with rain sound or thunder, it's awesome and comfy ^^) And ofc, Rhela is sooo bautiful ! I love her simple sensuality, and the ambiance/pose make it even more desirable. Love her outfit too (it's a yukata, nah ? hmm i don't remember those traditional dresses lol). I'm excited for this sketch of Mika ! The sketch for Witching Hour looks really good too, can't wait to see that done. Thanks for Molly as well! No requests for today.
