Very fun reaction, bit of a shame of the mismatched order, but I’m glad y’all had fun with undermine stuff. One thing to point out is WoW introduced these bite sized quest lines called lore walking, that is meant to introduce players to the lore in a more streamlined manner, if these aren’t in the reaction next week I would heavily recommend watching those after the undermine cutscenes, because they not only do they explain the lore (but they also add some new information) about key factors of this expansion such as the lore of Xal Atath and the Ethereals, they also did one for the Lich King. But the Xalatath and the Ethereals Lorewalking quests are gonna help out a bunch in understanding them before the Ghosts of Karesh cinematics

2025-09-22 22:09:47 +0000 UTCYeah the World of Warcraft (pun intended) has a lot of things going in the backround and a lot of history(lore). For instance I'm guessing you had no idea who Kel'Thuzad the mage with the cat is. Lets just say he's important for several (dark)reasons and have been apart of the lore since warcraft III. Another example is the awesome (In my opinion) story of the Ashbringer aka Alexandros Mograine heck even his Shadowlands part is amazing. Funny thing is we have known about Undermine and Karesh for years but never got to see them until now. The Warcraft movie although badly received at the time it released has gotten a bit of a cult following, myself included. Some of the reasons it flopped include but are not limited to: the minor changes to the lore, meaning its not really canon and that the story needed a lot of background knowledge and was not the story they should have started with. Even thought it would be chronological. In my opinion they maybe should have started with Arthas story. Hope you give it a watch at least!

2025-09-22 20:01:58 +0000 UTCSorry about the Goblin video being out of order, was the best I could find for that patch. :p Blizzard been toying with giving us a look at the Undermine for years, was cool to finally get a patch with it! Fans been begging Blizzard to do animated movies or shows for years with not just Warcraft but their other IPs as well. Nothing yet. The Warcraft movie wasn't that bad, just not what fans wanted. It was a very loose retelling of the first RTS game.
