Asassin's Creed IV Black Flag Ending

Finishing up our playthrough for Assassin's Creed Black Flag

Asassin's Creed IV Black Flag Ending

We aren't jumping immediately into another Assassin's Creed game but this definitely isn't the end of our AC journey. I [Bethany] LOVE the history that is an integral part of Assassins Creed and it is my goal that we eventually play them all.

Bethany and Ken

This is very helpful context, thank you for sharing this part of Haytham's backstory! 🙏

Bethany and Ken

So this is mostly explained in books and comics, but basically Haytham was undergoing assassin training as a child until Edward was killed in an orchestrated ambush by someone he trusted, who turned out to be the Grand Templar Master. That master raised Haytham into the Templar order until Haytham learned the truth about what happened and killed the Templar Master.

Sir_Deathstroke

youve got rogue (if u want to play it) and unity before syndicate

Yea sadly in my opinion ever since desmonds death assassins creed as really failed to get a hook in for the modern times part of the game and i think most would agree

Rogue is next after Black flag Rogue follows the pirate style like 4 does

Knight Spearhead

The game starts midway through the 1700s so jennifer would be able to live up to the 1800s

So Roberts is Aita, Juno's lover, mentioned in AC3. He's the first reincarnation we see in the series. The Sage refers to Aita's reincarnations, but we see the technology being used again in Valhalla and Mirage with Basim/Loki and Eivor/Odin. It's especially funny looking back at the series because there's so many threads that kinda go nowhere only to be recycled/reworked 5-6 games down the road. Some good examples of this are Ezio being brought up in AC Shadows or Valhalla/Mirage bringing back the real-life Assassins and Knights Templar. The plot with the Sage ends in a comic book instead of the main games unfortunately. Desmond has a secret son who is the next Sage and then some chaos happens and Juno gets defeated. They really dropped the ball with that plot. It's funny you guys have those critiques on the plot/gameplay. I had all those same critiques when the game first came out in 2013 and I actually left the series because of this and Unity's launch. I didn't come back until Origins in 2018. The reason I mention this is Black Flag is the community's favorite #1 AC game, when (as you guys mention) it's barely an AC game until the last few sections, and not just because of Edward's arc. A lot of the game is tailing, and if you don't like ship battles, you're not going to have much fun. I loved the naval combat, but the story didn't hook me, and I didn't even finish the game my first playthrough - I just 100% all the side content and didn't touch the story until my 2nd run through a year later. That being said, it's still in my top 3 AC games with Brotherhood and 2 alternating in the top 2 spot. Those games are just classics with the right amount of content and variety, and I doubt Ubisoft will ever produce a game like these three ever again.

Jennifer "Jenny" Scott (1713 – 1805) was the daughter of Edward Kenway and Caroline Scott, the half-sister of Haytham Kenway, and the paternal aunt of connor.
