It's been a while since I saw the show on Adult Swim, but that guy that's locked up in prison WILL have a strong impression later on, and I remember liking him a whole lot, so I guess I'm looking forward to whenever he becomes relevant

As for the prisoner remembering the Ishvalan genocide fondly, it’ll be a hot minute before he’s directly relevant, but man does he leave an impact. He will be well worth the wait, and perhaps, in a great many ways, not be what you expect. Heheheheh. FMA is a series that never wastes a single detail. As the larger overall narrative is a conspiracy mystery, I personally think it’s best enjoyed when attempting to scan for clues and put the pieces together. For example, Lt. Maria Ross discharged her sidearm at Barry the Chopper, right? But this is the military, where they keep meticulous care to track the movement of all supplies, requisitions, and ballistics. She has to report that discharge and the reason for replacing the ammunition. So how might that affect things going forward? All I can say right now is… It’s a terrible day for rain.
