Based on these first two episodes, I'd give the show a strong 6.5/10 for now.
It's enjoyable, it does familiar tropes well, I got a got a couple of chuckles out of it, and the animtion is decent. But nothing truly stands out to me.

I'm the exact opposite I view it as spoilers. I don't even watch anime openers because I like being exposed to characters as they come into the story. Personally i would rather have this be the first episode. It's why I'll probably never watch vindland saga despite how good people say it is as chronological order matters to me. I don't like sneak peaks of the future it's just a preference.

My guy I don't even watch anime openers until the last episode of a season because I like being introduced to characters as they come into the story. It's just a preference I like things done in chronological order for the most part. I think this episode would have been a decent enough opener.

I like things being chronological personally. Mostly because you get more details that way usually... and I like having nothing to question or wonder about by the end of a story.
Because that never happens.

One thing that sucked about the episode though: It was too short! I swear ... it was only 10mminutes tops!

I love this already. Perfect mix of OP meets interesting healing meets fun.
There aren't that many healing anime out there, but this is going to be one of the best.

I don't speak for the complainers. My concern was the starting point for the season. A significant portion of the manga is about how each of the girls comes into his life. By starting where they did, they reduced how much source material they have available to cover. I think I know where the logical season break is, and I'm worried that it'll make the season boring. If they choose to power through past where I think the break is, then I don't know what they're going to do because they'll have used up the entirety of the available source. I'm still excited to see what they do with the show, but I'm worried they're going to ruin it before getting to a second season... I desperately want to be wrong about this; I love this story.

Personally I rather prefer to get a taste of what the show is about. Like this show was doing with its first episode. Because then you can set your expectations rather then waiting an extra week(s) to get into the meat of the show

I love it this is currently my second favorite healing anime. My first pick is still Parallel world pharmacy, as that show is basically written by a real doctor. And felt so accurate with that healing stuff

it is a different way than anime typically go usually cause everything is isekai but like nearly every story every throws you in and doesn't just introduce everyone from scratch.
like I'm currently watch a great show called yellowjackets, I was thrown into a soccer team and learned about their dynamics over time lol

Heck I still read farming life in another world manga up to date right now. But yeah man unless it's nut master, it takes a few episode to see what you get into, can't judge from first episode and the poster art

It’s weird how people did complain about that. Like they surely have not many shows or played many games before. As this is such a common thing. It’s like some people just want an exposition for a whole episode. Which would just be so boring especially if that was the first episode of a story

Remember how many people called dangers terrible after the first episode. Reminds of what Robert whul once said “judge slowly “

People judge too quickly. Then again I’m just as guilty. Shows people say are trash I find a few that I love. Like by the grace of the gods and farming life in another world to name a few. But on the flip side, shows people go crazy for like konosuba or solo leveling I just can’t get into. Different strokes for different folks. Don’t yuk others yum. Unless it’s illegal unethical or “immoral “

the best type of humor is when the character is dry humor response and wants everyone to calm down

yeah idk it's weird like complaints that he knew them in episode 1 or we don't know their backstories and it's like....i know most kids are using chaptgpt to write their essays but are we really that cooked that A) you can't wait to see the story build up and B) people will have friends and stuff and we should understand that

This might turn out to be another gem, it's sad that people were bitching about it, I hope they don't watch the rest of it, and we get to enjoy it in peace. We both know deep down inside they wanted it to be good, because they like the fantasy trash that we love, but they're still too picky and moans about every little thing, they end up not enjoying it. So sad.
