I thought it was just an arbitrary explosion type spell first watch. And Freya was literally Erin Yeager in a sense, an idiot with too much power.

Now to view a back of her past, even if that story was more of a set up for this season. But the franchise has lots of material for them to adapt. So that should be no problem to pick one
