She piled on the guilt to take the receptionist job and used the excuse of fulfilling the dead guy's wish. So she _could_ resent the job itself now, but instead, she redirects that frustration onto the adventurers because they cause the workload to increase and out of jealousy because they're doing what she wants to do and see them as more "free" than she is. The girl is a neurotic mess. She even takes it out on poor Luke because she usually sees him as an adventurer. Only occasionally, when he's helping her with receptionist work, do we see her open up because she forgets he's an adventurer. Luke, my man, there are many red flags; stay away for your safety.
