Guild Receptionist Solo Any Boss Episode 3 Live Reaction (FULL)

Pretty sure its just her Japanese work ethic that has her going against common sense. I mean her boss does not care if she does extra, so why do so much? But honestly if its about being able to save up for retirement then I get her excessive hours by choice.

Overtime should be voluntary. Clearly its not if catching up requires it. In all honesty like in other series often it seems that adventure guilds Skeleton crew the place rather than higher a proper amount of people. More to the point IF the shows depection is reflective of the Japanese work load situation; then its actual BS. Since we do not see the others with her in the overtime moments normally it means they probably leave everything to her and her boss should repprimand them for doing so rather than doing nothing about it. If I am still mistaking something then please correct me.

Her back story was sad

Golden Angel1517

And she should have worn a mask not a hood.

I get that you don't have to do overtime ever again, but there's a pride in work and also in the first or second episode, she said that if she doesn't, the work that she didn't finish will pile up day by day that she didn't finish them. Also it's the regular chill work life that she wants, has her 2 receptionist friends too at work, so it's not like she doesn't want to do anything in her life at all. If she stops working, she'll lose both of her friends because the mountain of piled up work has to go to them, and probably get criticize by the adventurers who used to grab the quest from her. Pretty much will ruin her social life and work life like a regular receptionist. But the guild master offering twice the receptionist so that will be like 3 more. At least from what I remember, there was 3 receptionist at the desk, so now the work can be split and she won't have to work overtime. But that Dark God has to get hammered in because that necklace will probably tell her the Silver sword dude is dying.

I think you might have misunderstood. What he meant was that her not getting fired in this instance was garenteed; it's against the rules to partake in adventuring of any kind under fake identification, but he was willing to parden her for her crimes and let her keep her job if she won the dual. In fact it stands to reason that how she performed in her duties afterwards was irrelevant to him considering how he didn't even know of her disdain for working overtime before challenging her. Garrenteeing her position in spite of her misconduct was also used as a means to motivate her.

I wonder who get's almost killed next episode. ... With the amulet they raised an "almost dead" flag. We'll see. Also: Good they got this asshole stabbed.

I mean, that could work too, but simply saying, "She doesn't need to do the work," is nuts. The work doesn't disappear just because you choose not to do it. It has to get done; whether you do it, or someone else does it, someone's doing it. I figure she's doing it despite hating it because she has to. Whether it's because it's expected of her role, or she's at the bottom of the hierarchy and is really bad at her job, or someone else is making her do it is academic. But I agree that figuring out the reason behind it will speak more about her intelligence, but it's a strange point to get hung up on the idea that she's dumb for doing work that needs doing.

If you don't do you job, monsters invade the city, monsters invade the city = my house gets destroyed, I like my house, don't let monsters in the city

Origional_name_here

if she was more honest with herself like I want this place to succeed I can't let people down id allow it. but her mindset is I wanna be lazy af with my 9 to 5 and avoids all ways to do so she ain't cut out for the lazy life lmao

I think she knows she has to do overtime, cause if she doesn't EVERYTHING collapses. adventurers can't get new tasks or be paid, if you can't pay them on time they wont do more tasks for no money, its like being asked to freelance putting you life on the line and then not getting the money on time Mind you she is still very simple minded and i think that she thinks that when shes done all her OT that its done, but knows the same will happen the next day probably due to staff or bureaucratic shortages

Origional_name_here

but.. how could you do that by accident, isn't there like.. many people reviewing this before it airs?

Dennis Janssen

Well but... she needed three years to learn the work through a lot of mistakes. And the Hero guy just learned it very fast. They didn't explain any ranks yet but I doubt you would become head receptionist by struggeling so much. I would rather think she is a perfectionist like me. I love and apreciate my time off so much, but I hate it when things are not finished, so I do overtime a lot.

Dennis Janssen

the salary is guaranteed when she is given tenure. if she didn't think it was she should have made that a condition

AH Brandon Reviews

that's the neat part, she doesn't have to. she is a dumb character, we have seen as much by her hood disguise

AH Brandon Reviews

They guaranteed her the position as a receptionist, not her salary. Probably into nitpicking to much, sorry.

Jan Pettersson

I hate to see you rattle your noodle so much over why she does overtime in the first place... She's clearly the head receptionist. It's her responsibility that all the work is complete, and she doesn't force anyone else to do overtime. That the guildmaster doesn't notice that they need more help is a problem of her own making, but it's really not that complicated. It's a responsibility thing, like an anti-black-company thing. She's not a dumb character; she's just single-minded in her goals. Anyone would be pissed if the things you diligently work for get fucked over through no fault of your own.

Bryan Gonzalez

she has tenure, she doesn't have to do anything

AH Brandon Reviews

They never said anything about not making her pay dependent on the quality of her work or perhaps she takes great pride in her work, she does work very hard.

Jan Pettersson

That is probably the case as I was so confused when the ED played at the start of the episode

Didrik Svahn

i feel like it was an accident

AH Brandon Reviews

Also weird how they did swap places of the OP and ED

Didrik Svahn

I honestly believe that Alina is too stupid to realize what advantage she has now with never having to do overwork again
