That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 7 Live Reaction (FULL)

brilliant way to force the conflict between Rimuru and Hinata by misunderstanding and even though they should realize neither wants to fight midbattle, there's more conflict than just the two of them!

The problem for me with the meeting episodes for the past 6 ones is that since I am pretty much caught up with the source material, I knew beforehand what they were discussing so it wasn't that interesting. I can definately see where some of the critisism was coming from though, because even as much as I love this series even I would get tired after 2 hours of that. With that being said I am glad they finally got to the real meat of this arc at long last.

I've been wanting to say for weeks that we need for a series of events to line up before we can see the action. ....... The battle we saw were the Yomigaeri and the Kurenai. There are 100 knights and it was 3 on 1 knight. 1 Yomigaeri and 2 Kurenai I think. What's amazing is their teamwork. ..... After the groundwork of the message was laid, and Renard was instigated by the Seven Days, events afterwards just continued to confirm what everyone was initially led to believe, both sides, including Rimuru. That's was makes this more interesting, that no one started out wanting a battle, and then everyone was manipulated into thinking the other side wasn't there to talk.

yep and happened there as well (death and resurrection)

Also mentioned in Season 2.

This force is the Yomigeari, consisting those that died in the attack of Falmuth and were resurrected, they gained the ability of fast self-regeneration. It was mentioned in one of the meetings before :)

One thing just in case, in the previous episode they explain the skill of Shion’s group which essentially comprises of the citizens who died back in season 2. This group mainly has 2 skills, perfect memory and self regeneration. Perfect memory allows them not get mind manipulated easily, an example of this was in the fight with clayman when he tried to use demon marionette on Shion, and this skill also let the user’s memories remain intact for as long as their soul is in tact. Then we have self regeneration, which is pretty much self explanatory and showcased in today’s episode. So this essentially means that Shion’s group is practically immortal hence why they were chosen as the “stall” team for the battle.

People might complain about the slow pacing and meetings but... just as often in real life when things start to unfold.. they can unfold fucking quickly and escalate quickly as well
