That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 5 Live Reaction (FULL)

easily my favourite meeting yet! idc what anyone says this is incredible engaging and seeing how Hinata pieced everything was incredibly engaging. currently, we are left with Hinata vs Rimuru on the horizon with the king about to launch his attack! oh and I just realised, those cloaked goofs might have killed that messenger before getting there and replaced him and the message hence why Rimuru was so confused on why his message didn't work! or they kept him alive till after the meeting but changed the message which might be the most likely thing!

The message was delivered... as stated in the OP if you listen to the lyrics.... and there are good subtle hints.... it seems that the first cour will cover book 7 only and then 2nd cour book 8 and part of 9

Yeah, and something important that anime-onlys don't know because the explanation was skipped in the anime and was only referenced in episode 4 of season 3 is how dangerous Veldora is even without him doing anything. His passive magicule aura on its own is enough to instantly kill the majority of the population of Tempest if he doesn't suppress it. And that's a nation of monsters. In a human nation, it would kill almost everyone. To be more precise: (no real spoiler below) 1- All True Dragons have truly insane amounts of magicules, and like all creatures with magicles, they can self-generate their own(aka regen their magicules). Back when Veldora was in the seal in the beginning of the series, he was weakened and his aura was leaking out without him being able to generate more magicules. As a result he was going to die from running out of magicules completely in about a century or so, after he would be reborn in a random place in the world due to him being a True Dragon. He would still have all of his power and memories, but his memories and the personality of the version that died would only remain as knowledge. Aka, the new Veldora would have a new personality even if similar to the previous ones. 2- When Veldora as in the cave of the seal, his leaking aura encompassed the entirety of the Jura Forest. His aura is the reason why mindless monsters spawn at random in the giant forest. And that’s where his aura is the less concentrated, and yet it regularly spawns B-rank monsters even near the borders of the forest, with some rare A-ranks also spawning from time to time. The place where the leaked aura was the more concentrated was inside the cave of the seal. In there, A-rank monsters spawned regularly (but fought each other due to being mindless). And yet, even these mindless monsters instinctively kept away from the actual seal of Veldora deep in the cave system. 3- We know from Veldora’s thoughts that Rimuru was specifically born from the concentrated leaked aura of Veldora in the depths of the cave of the seal as an A-rank Unique slime. And we also learn that he evaluated Rimuru’s rank not from a skill(since most of his skills were turned off by the seal, and that those that weren’t(like his mental analysis unique skill) couldn’t reach outside of the seal), but instead because of how Rimuru wasn’t affected nor bothered by Veldora’s aura even when this close. Then, from being given the name Rimuru, Rimuru became Special-A rank. 4- So now onto the meat of the matter based on what we learned from Veldora’s thoughts and other mentions in the novels: While Veldora as weakened by the seal and from losing most of his magicules over the past few centuries in the seal, just being near Veldora’s aura would greatly weaken B-rank beings and would near instantly kill any being below B-rank. Now that Veldora isn’t weakened by the seal, just being in the vicinity of his passive aura (said vicinity being large enough to cover the entirety of the city of Tempest and more) would be enough to heavily weaken A-rank and Special-A rank beings, and would instantly kill anyone below A-rank. 5- This is why Veldora is such a catastrophic natural disaster. In the past, he would never contain his aura. Veldora just flying above a human city was enough to wipe out the population of said human city.

Oh, yeah, and if Rimuru were gone, I don't there's anyone else he would listen to. And besides, he'd be mad if someone hurt Rimuru, not to mention that no one else could provide him with manga!

In my opinion, they are right to be afraid of Veldora even with Veldora being a weeb now. If Rimuru told him to go wipe out a country at the drop of a hat, Veldora would 100% do it, and might even go "it's finally my time to do something!"

Meetings are important ... but I kinda wish for a little more slice of tempest life in between to loosen it up. XD

Hey, I know your review is out on YouTube already but I like to comment on the details also. ..... They actually dropped more info in the meeting than was originally in the novel version, filled in the information about how Megiddo worked back when, fingered all the people that were in touch with Edward faster than you would see this in the original plot. Also, we see the practical outcome of the technology from last week. After Rimuru was trying to figure out the masterminds in the last episode, we get maybe more insight into what groups harbor these people. Note they didn't identify any individuals. Hinata reiterates the suspicion about merchants from the East as well. I don't know what they mean by trade city, though. The story about Veldora in the past from Luminus' pov is a bit confusing, I wonder if there's a pronoun translation problem. I see it frequently. Why would Luminus shelter Veldora (him)? Maybe it's (them)? So they say the only awakened demon lords are Milim and Guy? They say that this is "of legend", so maybe this refers to the time of the destruction of the city by Veldora, because that was certainly the truth long ago. But I was sure that some of the others were awakened. But I can't refute what they said, either. The remaining Demon Lords are stronger than Carrion, Frey, and Clayman, and I didn't think they all were awakened, but they are all strong. But I think I know another factor contributing to their strength that I didn't put enough emphasis on--Skills. ..... They didn't really explain this but the 5 Paladins are part of the church, while the 3 Master Rooks are under Lubelius. There's a bit of rivalry between them. Saare used to be in charge, but Hinata beat him. Each person has their own troop. All together they are the 10 Great Saints. I think they can awaken. They are the Demon Lord counterparts. . .... Diablo knew about the prep for war in Falmuth, he reported on it last week, but today's report was a surprise. Someone is trying to interfere, it seems. .... With this, you are right, it does look like things will occur simultaneously. There are reasons, but I think that by 2 eps. at the latest we will see some action.
